HAAKAA SILICONE BREAST PUMP W SPILLGUARD | GEN 2+

$35.00

Introducing the Gen. 2+ Silicone Breast Pump with ComfortCare flange technology! This comfort-focused design combines Haakaa’s proven suction and pumping performance with a gentler experience for mums with sensitivity, helping protect nipples and breasts with greater comfort than ever before.

Made with ultra-soft silicone, the flange features four interior moulded rings that reduce friction and tugging while maintaining strong suction. An extra peace of mind feature includes a suction base to keep the pump stable on flat surfaces and the unique SpillGUARD pump stopper. This removable stopper fits snugly into the neck of the pump while pumping, allowing milk to flow in but not out which helps prevent spills during accidental knocks.

Perfect for travel, family gatherings, or discreet, quiet expression anywhere you need it, the Haakaa Gen. 2+ Breast Pump uses continuous natural suction to effortlessly draw out milk. It is 100% eco-friendly and safe for mum, baby, and the environment.

Directions

  1. Wash hands and ensure all components are clean before use.
  2. To insert the stopper, fold the flange at the narrowest part of the neck. The tab should face upwards and be aligned with the spillway. Fold flange back into place, ensuring there are no gaps.
  3. Place the pump flange over your breast, centring the nipple; adjust as needed.
  4. Squeeze the base to apply suction and start milk flow.
  5. Once milk begins to flow, leave the pump to work. The stopper stays in place during use.
  6. For stronger suction, fold back the flange, attach as above, then return flange to position.
  7. When finished, release suction. Press the suction base to a smooth, flat surface. Remove the stopper by pulling up by the tab, and transfer milk to a clean, sterilised container.

Tips:

  • Read instructions thoroughly before first use; practice may be helpful before your first pumping session
  • Pumping should not cause pain; discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional if pain, heat, or inflammation occurs
  • Milk flow and volume vary between individuals and throughout the day
  • Encourage let-down with warmth and gentle massage
  • While baby feeds on one breast, attach the pump to the other to catch let-down
  • When full, empty milk into a clean, sterilised container and reposition

Cleaning and Care

Wash and sterilise before first use and after each use. Although dishwasher safe, hand washing with warm soapy water is recommended, followed by thorough rinsing. To sterilise, use a steam steriliser or boil in water for 2–3 minutes. Use only soft brushes or sponges; hard scourers may scratch the surface. Do not use bleach-based cleaners or sterilising tablets. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
