Inspired by the award winning breathable silver nursing care system, the Bosom Ritual Shells combine two features that have never before existed in one design.
Engineered with a unique dual-purpose function, they allow mothers to choose between breathable airflow or sealed, leak-proof wear, adapting intuitively to changing routines throughout the day and night.
Sitting comfortably inside the bra, the Shells catch breast milk released during natural let-down or between feeds, while helping protect tender nipples from friction caused by clothing.
Unlike suction-based collectors, the Bosom Ritual Shells work passively. They do not create suction or actively draw milk from the breast. Instead, they gently collect the milk that your body naturally releases, without overstimulation.

How to Use
Before first use
Wash and sterilise the Shells. Allow to cool and dry completely.
1. Choose your wear mode
Breathable Airflow Mode
Remove the silicone plugs to allow gentle air circulation. Best worn when seated or upright, such as during feeding, rest, desk work, or quiet daytime moments. Avoid breathable wear during vigorous movement, bending, household tasks, or busy on-the-go activity. Ideal for nipple sensitivity and early postpartum recovery.
Sealed Leak-Proof Mode
Insert the silicone plugs to seal the airflow openings. Designed for movement, overnight wear, side-lying feeds, and on-the-go moments when extra security is needed.
2. Position comfortably
Place the soft silicone cushion over the nipple and areola.
The Shell should sit naturally against the breast — no suction or pressure required.
3. Secure with a bra
Wear inside a supportive, well-fitted bra or nursing tank. Avoid overly tight bras.
4. Wear throughout the day
Wear between feeds, during let-down, overnight, or while out and about. The Shells passively collect milk your body naturally releases.
5. Empty & clean
Remove carefully, keeping upright. Pour milk into a sterile container and store according to safe breast milk guidelines. Wash with warm, mild soapy water after each use and sterilise regularly. Allow to dry fully.
Important
The Bosom Ritual Shells are designed for passive milk collection only. They do not create unwanted suction and are not a replacement for a breast pump.
